KCYM and KLCA jointly organised an evening prayer with regard to Mullaperiyar issue. His Grace The Most Rev. Dr. Francis Kallarackkal, Archbishop of Archdiocese of Verapoly was the main celebrant in the prayer night organised at Cathedral Church. Mr. Shaji George - KLCA President. Mr. Shine Antony - President KCYM Archdiocese of Verapoly, Mr. George Dixon - General Secreatry addressed the gathering. Archbishop lighted the Lamp of Hope and Peace with Adv. Jerome and Mr. Shine Antony. All the KCYM Archdiocesan Youth Executives participated in the prayer night.
Archbishop delivered the prayer for Peace and Harmony and Very Rev. Msgr. John Bosco Panakkal read the Holy Bible. Very Rev. Msgr. Alex Vadakumthala, Vicar General of Archdiocese of Verapoly and Very Rev. Fr. Francis Xavier Thannikkaprambil, General Secreatry, KRLCC was also present in the evening prayer.
