In the 125th anniversary of the Archdiocese of Verapoly KCYM formed a youth green brigade to protect and nurture the earth. Very Rev. Msgr. Alex Vadakumathala, Vicar General of Archdiocese of Verapoly inaugurated the Brigade. Sri. Shine Antony, President Archdiocese of Vertapoly presided the gathering. Dr. Prof. M L Joseph, Sri. E J Jose lead the sessions. Rev. Fr. Joseph Oliparambil, Sri. I M Antony addressed the gathering. Sri. I M Antony will lead the Brigade and Sri. Sijoy Antony will assist.
The Youth Green Brigade will be in charge to coordinate and organize the environmental seminars / workshops in the parish level. The Youth Green Brigade will distribute 40,000 saplings with regard to the environmental day celebrations in the Archdiocese of Verapoly.
